Privacy Policy

The short version
Conversion happens entirely in your browser. We don't see your images. We don't store them. We don't share them. There is no account to create.
What data we (don't) handle
The PNG → WebP conversion uses your browser's built-in Canvas API. The image bytes are processed locally and the resulting WebP is offered to you as a download. The image is never uploaded to our server as part of this flow.
One narrow exception: if your browser cannot encode WebP locally (a tiny minority of older browsers), the converter offers a server-side fallback. In that case, your PNG is sent to /convert.php, encoded in memory, returned as a WebP, and discarded. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is logged beyond the standard request log your hosting provider keeps.
Logs
The web server keeps standard access logs (timestamp, requested URL, anonymised IP, referrer, user-agent) for short-term security and debugging purposes. These logs are not connected to identities, and we do not sell or share them.
Cookies and local storage
We use a single piece of local storage (theme) to remember your light/dark preference. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not run third-party analytics by default.
The admin panel (which you the operator use, not visitors) sets a session cookie strictly for sign-in.
Third-party services
Most assets — the Nunito typeface, application code, styles — are served directly from this domain. Two CDN resources are loaded only when needed:
- Tailwind Play CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com) serves the CSS framework on initial page load.
- JSZip (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) is fetched only when you click "Download all as ZIP" in batch mode.
These providers see your IP and user-agent the way they would for any site that links to them. We do not pass them any image data.
Children
The site is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including minors.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Substantive changes will be flagged in the site footer.
