The deal

pngtowebp.org is a free utility. By using the site you agree to the simple terms below. If you don't, please don't use it.

What you can do

• Convert PNG images that you own or have rights to.
• Use the resulting WebP files for personal or commercial work.
• Read, link to, and share our blog articles. Excerpts of up to 200 words are fine to quote with attribution.

What you can't do

• Submit or convert content you don't have rights to.
• Submit content that's unlawful, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
• Try to overload, abuse, or break the service.
• Scrape the site at machine scale (a normal user-agent loading the site is fine).

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind. While we make every effort to keep the converter accurate and stable, we can't guarantee the output will be perfect for every use case. Always verify converted images before using them in production.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or any output of the converter.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the images you process. We claim nothing over them. The site code, logos, and content are owned by the operator unless otherwise noted.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Substantive changes will be flagged on the homepage; the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the operator's local courts.
